Peakdale Molecular at Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire

Peakdale’s Headquarters, on the edge of the Peak District in Chapel-en-le-Frith Derbyshire, was purpose built in 2001 to meet increasing demand in the Discovery and Preclinical industry.

Boasting an impressive 37,500m2 of state-of-the-art research facilities, the site occupies an ideal central location, being under an hour from two international airports and easily accessible by road and rail from both the North and South of the UK.

During its 14 year heritage, expansion has taken place in two distinct phases – the east wing which now houses 9 chemistry laboratories was joined in 2007 by the west wing in which there are two larger synthetic laboratories with space to support up to 50 chemists. The building also houses two analytical laboratories, a purpose built biology suite and all the necessary administration required to support the science.

From its inception, Peakdale has a history of providing excellence throughout its discovery services which, at its most sophisticated level, places its scientists’ renowned skills for problem-solving and project management right alongside the clients’ own team. Communications and vibrant interaction with clients are unequalled and our clients often feel that Peakdale is an extension of their own team, simply on a different site.
