Non Executive Directors
Mike McGoun, Chairman
Mike was appointed Chairman in February 2002, having previously joined the Company in November 2001 in a
consultancy role. Mike brings with him a wealth of experience, in particular within corporate merger and
acquisition activity, and sits on the Board of four other companies.
Mike is also Chairman of LSE listed company, the Tikit Group Plc a leading provider of software solutions
to Law firms in the UK. Mike originally trained with IBM and has an MBA and a degree in electronic engineering.
Paul Joyce
Paul joined the Board as a Non Executive Director in August 1998 and brings extensive legal experience together
with the practical experience of managing a thriving business. Paul is a Managing Partner in Ramsdens
Solicitors, Huddersfield, UK.
Will Fraser-Allen
Will was appointed to the Board as a Non Executive Director in November 2001. Will is an Executive of Close Venture
Management, part of the Close Brothers Group Plc whose Venture Capital Trust is an investor in Peakdale. Will
qualified as a chartered accountant in 1996 before specialising in providing corporate finance advice to small and medium
sized businesses.
Angus Whiteley
Angus was appointed to the Board as Non-Executive Director in December 2007. Angus is co-founder and Managing Director of Solon Ventures Ltd, a UK-based venture capital firm focused on the life sciences and technology sectors. Before Solon, he was a Director of Thompson Clive & Partners Ltd, a venture capital group investing internationally in the same sectors. Angus has carried out a number of other roles, including providing technology analysis for Veritas Asset Management (UK) Ltd, a UK fund management group and assisting a family office in the management of its venture capital portfolio. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Arecor Ltd, Novalia Ltd and Prosonix Ltd. Angus has a law degree from Pembroke College, Cambridge.
