Full lead optimisation reviews the pharmacokinetic (PK) and toxicity data of the lead series along with improvements in efficacy. Peakdale has access to a full range of in vitro and in vivo ADME/Tox screens and can use this data to improve the profile of a lead optimisation candidate in parallel with improvements for efficacy. Some of our customer place entire projects with us to progress early hits and deliver active molecules with a good PK profile as follow-on drug candidates while others utilise specific skills and resources that they use to extend their own in-house teams.
