Peakdale Molecular is situated in the small town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, in the Peak District at the north western tip of Derbyshire. The National Park Boundary is less than ½ mile from the company offices and access to the Countryside is unrivalled.
People travel far from all over the world to enjoy the beautiful and dramatic High Peak terrain. The area is a Mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with fantastic walking, climbing, potholing and hang-gliding on your doorstep. Our historic towns and traditional villages offer an outstanding chance to absorb the local history with its unique character. The area is at the heart of the junction of the dark and white Peak where the drystone walls reach down to many historic locations including:
- the moorland plateau’s of Kinder Scout and Pennine Way long distance trail;
- the Limestone valleys and caves with unique Blue John fluorspar
- the historic industrial legacy restored and conserved at Bugsworth’s historic Canal basin and;
- the magnificent Chatsworth House featured in films such as Keira Keighley’s Pride and prejudice.
Chapel-en-le-Frith is only 40 minutes by train from Manchester City Centre, with its thriving multi cultural urban facilities and Manchester International Airport is 40 minutes travel time from Peakdale Molecular for those wishing to travel into or out of the area.
