Peakdale scientists work closely with our clients to design libraries around privileged structures – either from a customer’s knowledge of a specific pharmacophore or through our own growing knowledge of unique and diverse pharmacological chemotypes. As well as considering the core structure, the library design assesses the feasibility of the chemistry and the availability of the building blocks or monomers. This is aided by Peakdale’s collection of proprietary intermediates. The library is further refined to include novelty, drug-like and lead-like features before production begins. The pro-active feedback of biological assay results provides our customers with drug candidates suitable for taking forward into pre-clinical development.
