Lead-Like Compounds for Screening
There is an increasing demand for
novel, drug-like molecules for use in early discovery screening.
Although several collections
of screening compounds are now commercially available, there
are many structural features that are missing from these
collections. Peakdale’s scientists have built a reputation
for designing and synthesising unique, novel scaffolds and
building blocks using our in-house expertise. The resulting
libraries offer drug-like molecules which complement the
chemical space of other compound collections, leading to
novel hits as the basis for further hit developments and
lead optimisation.
Peakdale has a reputation as a leader in designing, producing and supplying novel compounds and key intermediates. We have hundreds of proven building blocks and thousands of novel screening compounds available from stock in milligram to kilogram quantities.
Novel compounds used for initial screening for biological activity are available through our screening compound service. We have designed and synthesised many tens of thousands of compounds for our customers and have over 8000 non-exclusive screening compounds available from stock.
Our parallel synthesis labs support the further development of our collection and our scientists are also available for exclusive contracts in the areas of hit discovery, hit-to-lead development and lead optimisation. We have access to high throughput pharmacokinetic testing and can simultaneously look at improving the safety/tox profile of a lead series during the lead optimisation phase.
